All About the Smiths

Josh's sister Jenny spent the weekend with us last weekend. On Sunday we had to take her to Rockford to meet her ride back up North. While we were waiting for her ride we stopped at a beautiful State Park nearby. We had a great time playing in the leaves. Cynthia enjoyed having lots of new things to look at.

Josh and I went for a walk in the woods behind our house this afternoon. It was REALLY nice out! We enjoyed spending time with each other and enjoying the fall weather.

Josh took these really cool pictures of our car a few weeks ago.

 

I think the last of our beautiful fall weather is about over.
The last few days have been so gorgeous. Not too hot and not too cold. We've been taking advantage of the last few nice days and have been out galavanting!
Saturday we drove around taking pictures of the fall colors. Sunday we were out with the kids at the park in Merrill. Monday night found us driving around near our house and we stopped and took more pictures. Tonight we went to the Eau Claire Dells (about 20 minutes from our apartment) and had fun walking through the woods, climbing on rocks and of course, taking more pictures.

I love this time of year! The weather and colors right now remind me over and over of what an awesome God we serve and his might. Only He can create the beauty of nature.

Another praise that I have is that my brother is finished with Boot Camp and will be graduating on Friday. My parents and sister are on their way down to see his Graduation and to be able to spend a few days with him before he goes off to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) in Virginia. Congrats David!! When they get me some pictures, I'll post them on here.
