Ever since we moved into our new (rental) house, we have been without a washer & dryer. Our house needed an electrical upgrade before we could use our dryer. Finally this week our landlord was able to get an electrician out here to upgrade our electrical hookups and put in the hookups for an electric dryer! Yay!!
Yesterday, Josh and my brother, Mark, worked most of the afternoon to get our washer and dryer hooked up. The washer and dryer we have have been sitting in my parents garage for about 2 years, so they had to test them both before moving them to make sure they both work. Praise the Lord, both work and both are installed. YAY!!! No more hauling laundry somewhere else to do it anymore.
I am so thankful this was able to be completed before the baby comes.

Yes, that is a HUGE praise!!! You are definitely going to become VERY good friends with your washer and dryer once Cynthia comes!!! =) That's so wonderful! Praise God for little, BIG blessings like washers and dryers and landlords who get the electrician out to our houses! =)

Ahh... your life has just gotten a lot easier. I remember when we got a place that had washer and dryer hookups and someone gave us an old washer and dryer that still worked after not having that option for the first two years we were married. We felt soooo spoiled!

That is great!! We do not have washer-dryer hookups in our apartment(which is the same apartment Karis and Dan used to live in) and so I go to a friend's house to laundry as well so I understand you being excited about being able to do your own laundry in your own house!
