Life Lessons

The following are some lessons that I have learned over the past several days/weeks.

Life Lesson #1
A case of a really bad flu, 3 doses of allergy medicine and being extremely tired result in a person not being able to stay awake for an entire day. (Poor Josh, he was sick for 2 1/2 days!)

Life Lesson #2
Do not add water to a pan that has just come from the oven in broiling mode. The pan will shatter. (See story below.)

Life Lesson #3
Always be careful when unscrewing burned out light bulbs as the glass might separate from the rest of the bulb. It is extremely difficult to get the rest of the light bulb out of the light fixture. (Thank the Lord for a strong husband and pliers.)

Life Lesson #4
When playing with a 10 week old Siamese kitten, anything that movies is fair game to be pounced on, attacked and played with! (There is no tragic story behind this lesson, this is just information for your general consumption.)

Life Lesson #5
You can get some great laughs when trying to take a self portrait using a digital camera, tripod and the timer on your camera. To succeed at this, you must be able to move fast and sit gracefully!

Life Lesson #6
Picture this: 4 guys crossing a slippery rock under 3 inches of water... One of them is bound to slip!
