My youngest brother, David, left for Army bootcamp in the middle of June. Since my brother has not been living for the Lord lately, my parents started praying that he would meet a good Christian guy there that would be a good influence on him. Praise the Lord, their prayer has been answered! David met a guy at bootcamp who is also a Christian and he has been going to church and a Bible Study with him.
We are also very thankful that David seems to be having a blast in bootcamp and every letter from him is positive and up beat. He's even been saying that he's having fun. That part amazed me as I thought you weren't supposed to have fun at bootcamp!
Please pray for David as he completes his remaining weeks of bootcamp and that He would continue to grow in the Lord. He is supposed to Graduate on October 6th.
