Since getting out of the hospital a few weeks ago, Dad has still been struggling with some chest pains and some other complications related to his medications. Last night (December 26th) Dad was experiencing more chest pains, but this time the nitroglycerin didn't help the pain. He was advised by his doctor to head to the Emergency Room. Once there it was decided to keep him overnight for observation and a talk with his Cardiologist.
This morning (December 27th) the doctor told dad that he would need to stay in the hospital until they can get the date for his surgery moved up. His surgery was moved to Wednesday, January 2nd.
Would you please pray for him as he spends at least the next week in the hospital? Please pray that he would have patience and also that he would not have any other complications.
Also, Dad's birthday is on January 1st. As I'm sure this will be very discouraging for him to be in the hospital on his birthday we are organizing a card shower for him. If you would like to participate, let me know and I will get you his address.
