Josh's sister, Jenny, came to surprise him for the weekend. We had a nice visit with her on Friday and Saturday. Jenny and I were even able to squeeze in a quick shopping trip Friday afternoon. Friday evening we had a Cottage Prayer Meeting at our house in preparation for our Revival Services this week. After that Josh, Jenny and I hung out and watched a few movies. It was fun relaxing and spending time with her.
Saturday we went out to do some visiting for the Revival Services and then had a nice supper with the Hightowers and the Northland Extension Team. After supper we had to take Jenny to meet her ride back to Northland. We were sad to see her go and can't wait to see her again at Thanksgiving.
Late in the evening on Saturday Josh and I were making an Apple Crisp to take for the church dinner on Sunday and decided we needed different apples than the ones we had. So at 10:00 Saturday evening we made a quick run to Wal-Mart. (Life is never dull with us!!)
Sunday was a nice day with church services and then some relaxing in the afternoon. The rest of our week is going to be very busy as we have services every evening at 7:00 PM, but we are looking forward to the messages and how the Lord is going to work.
